Responsibilities

Reads and interprets blueprints including tolerances and quantities.
Troubleshoot root cause of equipment malfunctions and implement solutions.
Align and adjust machine components to optimize functionality and efficiency.
Operate tools such as lifts, welding and cutting equipment, portable drills and grinders, measuring devices, and power tools.
Maintain and care for company and customer tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Communicate with customers, explaining technical issues and providing solutions.
Communicate with the supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Job Description

Repair and build feed body trucks, other custom metal projects and all parts and components associated with them.

Responsibilities

Reads and interprets blueprints including tolerances and quantities.
Perform Arc, TIG, Stick, or MIG welding in the fabrication of parts and equipment to repair and build feed body trucks, trailers, other custom projects, and all associated components.
Inspect, measure, and test completed welds, cuts, and machining work to check for defects and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Prepare, operate, and maintain the High-Pressure Waterjet and other metal fabrication systems to process and produce high quality metal products.
Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on High-Pressure Waterjet and other metal fabrication and milling equipment.
Maintain and care for company and customer tools, equipment, and vehicles
